Highly accurate I²C clock (±2 ppm) that keeps time through power cuts thanks to its backup battery.
7-day returns on unused items · Return policy
Microcontrollers forget the time when power is lost. The DS3231 keeps the date and time running on its coin-cell battery and stays accurate to about a minute per year thanks to a temperature-compensated crystal. It also offers two alarms, a square-wave output and a 32 KB EEPROM on many modules — ideal for data loggers, timers and schedulers.
